Cindy posted on facebook...Randy and I are proud to announce the birth of our son,

Jack Randall Owens. Born 11-16-12 at 5:35 PM at 1 lb. 11 oz. 13 inches long.

He decided he was eager to meet us earlier than we expected, but he is such a fighter!

I went to church last night and prayed for my baby nephew who I love so very much. I found this prayer which I love for u Cindy!

Humble Mary of Nazareth, you were chosen my God to bear within you our world’s greatest gift, the Savior of all humanity. I come to you now on behalf of Cindy who prays for the health and safety of the child that God has graced her to conceive.

Guard this life that God has created, and protect the mother God has chosen for this child. Let your gently hands, like that of a skilled physician, assist in her delivery so that this baby will know good health and lasting happiness.

May her child be favored with the grace of Holy Baptism, and grow to love our Lord Jesus Christ above all else in this world. Amen.

3 days old! Good day today...brain ultrasound was negative yeah!!! Next up prayers for little Jack's PDA in his heart to close with medication this week so he doesn't need surgery. ♥

"Day 7". He had a rough day. His skin is peeling and infected alittle, but that should improve.

He really hates being intubation, always trying to take it out....poor guy.

We are going to see him soon. Little one has to have a blood transfusion today (Day 8).

I wish that little Jack was still inside my tummy so he wouldn't have to go through all this.

I wish I could feel him grow instead of see him grow.

Oh ya...I forgot to share that Jack opened his eyes and looked at me today. It caught me off guard
