A day of fun flying...

Michael, Den, Mary and David

Before Michael took off from Camarillo Airport...

Den (looking out the cockpit) had to take a closer look at the old B25 World War II plane

The view of Camarillo and the CYA (California Youth Athority)...

Mary visited some of the pregnant girls (13 to 25 yrs. old) who were serving their time for very violent crimes.

Just as we were decending into Santa Paula to have lunch...

The Amgen Tour of California cycle race which began in San Francisco and would end at Amgen,

...had taken off in the morning from Santa Barbara on Hwy. 150 at 10am;

then just as we were about to land in Santa Paula, the cyclist were riding across the bridge. (noon time)

View of Amgen as the bike riders come through the finish line...

Wendy was among the spectators below, watching as the cyclist came through.

We then flew over Westlake...

a view the lake and our cul-de-sac (our's is the 2nd home on the left)

We had a great view of Campknapp's remodel...

(the new addition of the 2nd story; has the wood roof and aqua pool)

David looking out at Lake Sherwood...

just before landing, we could see Den's office (Southwest Thermal Technology) left side center; industrial park
